Services

  • Surf Coast Psychology provides individual counselling to young people (16 years and over)
    and adults.
    Sessions run for 50-60min (face to face or via Telehealth).

    What we help with
    We work with a wide range of mental health concerns including;

    • Depression
    • Trauma
    • Grief and Loss
    • Life Transitions
    • Work/Study Stress

    What we are unable to help with:

    • Eating Disorders
    • Personality Disorders
    • Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
  • Surf Coast Psychology provides a variety of evidence-based group treatment programs.
    These programs can be individually tailored to suit your community setting or workplace.
    Group programs may address topics such as stress management, social anxiety and post-
    covid recovery.

Referrals and Fees

You do not need a referral to access our service but it is highly recommended to consult with your GP prior to making an appointment.
Your GP can assess whether you are eligible for the Better Health Access to Mental Health Care Scheme.
If eligible, you can claim $96.65 per session with a registered psychologist.

Other funding options which may cover all or part of your consultation fee that we accept
are:

  • Private Health Insurance (please check with your insurer to see your eligibility)
  • NDIS plan or self managed (for PTSD only)
  • TAC (gap fees applies)

Funding options we are unable to accept:

  • WorkSafe claims
  • NDIS Agency managed 
  • VOCAT claims and reports
